Why Thistle & Quill?
The thistle is a symbol resilience, bravery, and determination. It is a symbol of protection -- covered in thorns so it does not get hurt. As humans I feel a lot of people have walls ups to protect themselves, yet despite that (or perhaps because of it) there is beauty in each individual.
A quill is the traditional symbol of a writer and a storyteller. As a writer myself it was important for me to incorporate this part of my life. I strongly believe that each picture tells a story and I aim to create the visual narrative of your life during the time of your session.
